Foal Procedures performed on foals born at McCallumView Farm:
- enema & iodine navel at birth
- Antibiotics - 3 days following birth
- IgG test - 8 hrs following birth
- CBC - 7 days following birth
- Plasma - within 24 hrs. following birth - $375.00
- Plasma - 21 days following birth if necessary - $375.00
- Strep guard - intra-nasal - 30 & 60 days
- De-Worm rotation - every 60 days beginning at 5 months
Broodmare Procedures:
- Ultrasound - $100.00
- Palpation - $30.00 ea.
- Pregnancy checks @ 14, 24 and 34 days post-ovulation
- Caslicks - close
Pre-Foaling:
- Pneumabort K (Rhinopneumonitis) 5, 7 & 9th month of pregnancy
- Rotavirus 8, 9 & 10th month of pregnancy
- EWT, Flu-Rhino, Rabies, West Nile, Strep guard, Caslicks - open - 4 weeks prior to foaling
